The Way Inn project was started with insufficient funds for it's completion, and in some cases we lacked the skills needed to wholly achieve what we set out to do. For these reasons we are grateful for the volunteer trend.

There are generally three types of volunteers we take on;

1. Youth Volunteers. For parents who would like their adolescents to participate in a supervised and managed work experience in a foreign country, we ask for a payment that includes food and accomodation plus a co-ordination fee to have opportunity of working on a well organised, learning experience in the form of a work placement. This may also apply for individuals working on charity projects.

2. Benefit Volunteers. For the more experienced adult with special skill sets who are interested in supporting THE WAY INN vision, we offer food and board in exchange for approx. 35 productive hours a week (depending on the job role and requirements).

3. Paid Volunteers. In some cases we offer financial support for specific roles that develop themselves into a long term commitment. These individuals need to prove to us that they can take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills. Be sure to include 3 references with email and phone contact information in resumes.

4. Community Volunteers. Because of our close proximity to some of the poorest people on earth, we always have projects going on under our CHARITY for the benefit of these local indigenous people. We as such offer positions for individual to volunteer alongside a project that is underway. For this option, we ask for $100 a week - $50 goes towards your food and board and $50 towards materials for the ongoing project that you will be working on.
