At the moment, The Way Inn has a small herb garden that is producing some herbs, small vegetables and vines. More vegetable beds have been built and are currently being developed with compost and manure ingredients with the intention of supporting rich soil development for a major garden project in 2011. We hope to be producing our own fruits and vegetables, with the mind to being more sustainable.
The plan is to open up our gardening project to the travel community next year, where we will offer volunteer positions for those who would like to participate in understanding garden development techniques. More information will be given on available positions in 2011.
