Where would any town be without its drinking holes? Huaraz`s most popular night spots attract many travellers and locals alike. It`s very “in” for locals to a gringa or gringo in their company, so you can expect quite the interest if you`re looking to meet people..and Huaraz is such a social scene! Have fun with your travel buddies and dance up a storm with the locals to really discover the inside of Huaraz.

Bars:
A well designed bar run by the last of the Incas, Lucho. Laid back and fun, you can meet many of town`s most infamous characters within these walls.

It would be appropriate to call this a biker bar, except that there aren`t many bikers in this town besides the owner. Still, he speaks English fluently and you can enjoy the chill music and easygoing atmosphere with friends or strangers.

The longest standing bar to survive Huaraz`s drinking scene. Play table football or relax by the bar with timeless classics playing. Popularly the owner likes to invite visitors to dance on the bartop…so be aware!!!

Typical to its name, it is encouraged traditionally to leave all drama at the door. A no fuss spot, you can have a quiet drink or play a game of chess with the owner while listening to his great music selection.

Clubs:
This club has a small dance floor with lights, a table football game and some seating. The diabolic theme is displayed in wall drawings and the lighting and music follows suit.

The first gringo bar in town, El Tambo is now famous as the town`s most popular dance club for the locals. Music is a real mixture – request your tunes.

Near to El Tambo and its style imitator, Mckondos draws local party animals and mixes up the music for a truly knees up experience.
